About the project

An invitation
to the path.

A place for the questions that lead us toward Torah,
and the learning that carries us further.

The Broad Bridge is an independent project by Brad Arner, growing out of his own learning, questions, and experience.

Its purpose is to give expression to a Torah-centered path of life and help others find, enter, and deepen their participation in it. That includes foundational inquiry, close engagement with texts, and the steady work of understanding and practice.

A wider horizon

Ramchal’s Derech Chochmah is an inspiration for the learning direction. The horizon is deeper avodas Hashem: learning that continues to shape a person’s attention, prayer, and way of life.

The work begins with useful pieces rather than a finished curriculum. Essays, research, source studies, and learning tools can each support a different part of that journey.

An open notebook

This is the website’s first edition. The opening notes introduce its themes; research dossiers and study materials will develop through continued source work and review.

The perspective is rooted in traditional Judaism. Questions and competing arguments deserve to be stated accurately and examined carefully. Where an interpretation is provisional, it should be recognizable as such.
